We were invited to give a public talk in Fab Lab Impact and to share the stiwdio everywhere concept and projects and ideas.
Fab Lab Impact is an open innovation centre with a wide range of digital fabrication machines, various programs for start ups, community projects, lone makers offering the platform for fabrication, education, collaboration and design. Oscar Velasquez and his team are working hard to expand the currently 2-storey Fab Lab into a multi-storey space for collaboration and innovation.
During that day we had the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people from various fields with an enthusiasm and great interest in personal fabrication. We also met Fab Lab managers of neighbouring Labs and gave us an insight about their area of work and views on art/design project. We would love to see these Labs and we will in our next visit in Mexico.
Mexico City visit with the Fab Lab Impact team was a wonderful experience and we are looking forward to our next meet up!
